About Us
Dr. Kate Stanley grew up surrounded by dentistry. With a dad who is a general dentist and a brother who is an oral surgeon, she discovered early on the importance of creating positive dental experiences.
After working in family dentistry for six years, Dr. Kate realized her true passion was working with kids.
This inspired her to pursue a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry and eventually fulfill her dream of opening Stanley Pediatric Dentistry right here in Kansas City.

We always consider all appropriate treatment options and try to present the most conservative plans when possible. We are here to support your family, answer your questions, and help you make informed decisions about your child’s dental health.

Policies
Our office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available. However, please keep in mind that there are certain types of appointments that are only available at certain times of the day or certain days of the week.
- Preschool children have the best experience in the morning when they and our team are fresh and we can work more slowly with the child for their comfort.
- Nitrous Oxide appointments are scheduled only in the morning.
- Our afternoon appointments are reserved for preventive care visits, minor emergencies and sealants
We require a 24-hour cancellation notice.
Financial Information
Payment for professional dental services is due at the time dental treatment is provided. This includes deductibles and co-insurance. We accept cash and most major credit cards as well as Care Credit.
For patients that require dental treatment, we will customize a treatment plan unique to your child. Our treatment coordinator will review the recommended treatment and the estimation of your dental insurance reimbursement.
Every effort will be made to provide a treatment plan which fits your timetable and budget, and gives your child the best possible care.
