Meet Dr. Kathryn “Kate” Stanley
I’m proud to be a board-certified pediatric dentist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. I’m also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and an active member of the American Dental Association and the Kansas Dental Association.
About Dr. Stanley
I attended Olathe South High School, where I was active in sports and the dance team. After high school, I earned my BA in Human Biology from the University of Kansas in 2001 and then graduated from the UMKC School of Dentistry.
I spent six years practicing as a general dentist in Olathe, but my passion for working with kids led me to pursue specialized training. I completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at Oregon Health and Science University’s Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon.
I am honored to be a member of the Pierre Fauchard Academy and serve on the board for the UMKC School of Dentistry Alumni Association. I previously served as President of the 5th District Dental Society of Kansas and currently hold the role of vice president for the Kansas Dental Association.
Outside of dentistry, I spent nearly two decades as a dance instructor and choreographer, but I’ve since hung up my tap shoes to focus on my active family. My husband, David, and I stay busy keeping up with our three children and two dogs.
I love helping children build healthy, confident smiles and can’t wait to welcome your family to our practice!
